Homebrew Bitter Kits
Bitter is one of the most popular beer styles on sale today. Thankfuly, it is also one of the easiest to make at home with a homebrew kit and also widely available. There are plenty of bitter kits from which to choose and below we show you some of the best and where you can buy them today. So if you already have your starter equipment and just need a refill then this is where to look.
Bargain Brew Yorkshire Bitter
STOP - don't write it off. Sounds dodgy doesn't it. Looks dodgy too when you see the tin. But this beer is getting great reviews. From the Youngs stable it has to be pretty good and it works out at about 20p a pint. Now it'll taste even better eh! Go on, give it a try. For less than £8 for 40 pints you can't go wrong. Just add 1kg sugar and you're away.
Bargain Brew Export Bitter
Don't judge a beer by it's cover. The bargain brew may be unfortunate in the looks department, but the taste is great for an economy kit. Why spend £££'s when good cheap beer can be yours for so little. When making 40 pints, that's only 20P a pint!
This kit requires 1kg of sugar.
Woodfordes Norfolk Ales
Woodfordes Wherry is a great beer to begin with. Not only is it a true real ale but it's easy and reliable to make. It's also my favourite. I have made loads of these and never had one go wrong.
Geordie Bitter
A Traditional well-hopped bitter with a rich nutty flavour that beer drinkers love. It has a deep clear amber colour and a full head.
Hambleton Bard Strong Bitter 40 Pt Dry Kit
Based on spray dried malt extract and Hambleton Bards own unique hop extract, these kits are uniquely pure, with no flavour distortion from the heat normally used to make a malt extract.
Each kit makes 40 pints of full bodied tradional ale in just 3 weeks.
Reguires 1.5Kg of brewing sugar or 3lb or white sugar.
Cordon Brew Burton XXXX Bitter

The classic English ale, well hopped with a rich malty flavour - a drink to be savoured. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature.
